I’ve been geeking out lately. I bought some new toys that make the cockpit even more high tech.
First of all, I bought a RadioShark! My buddy Phil introduced me to this neat little gadget, and I immediately began to salivate. I haven’t used it to record any shows just yet. I have been using it daily however. It’s damn nice to be able to cycle through all my favorite radio stations with a single keystroke, and have it play through my computer’s booming, wall-shaking, glass-breaking speakers. The price was right too, I found one for only $50 shipped. Yay RadioShark!
I also bought a new digital camera to replace the old one I left on the bumper of Dave’s truck. I decided I wanted a couple more Megapixels, a smaller footprint, and able to take black and white photos. The camera I finally decided on was the Canon Powershot SD 200. It’s so small I could almost fit two of them in the palm of my hand–very, very dinky. I can see myself putting the camera in my pocket, having a few pirate shots, and losing the sucker.
So now I’ve got no less than four devices charging on my desktop: cellphone, digital camera, mp3 player, and GameBoy. As I write this blog entry I’m listening to Art Bell on AM 560 KSFO.
I love technology, don’t you?
