I am a filthy little consumer whore. I feel dirty. But I feel oh-so-good at the same time. I impulse-bought all new parts for my new hot rod.

Considering what brand new computers cost these days that ain’t so bad. If I were to buy a computer with these parts from a manufacturer like Voodoo or Alienware it would cost me over $3000. Hey, now I don’t feel so bad.

This system is going to be so fucking fast I can’t stand it. I won’t have to upgrade for at least two years. All the parts won’t be here for another week. I’m not sure I can wait that long.

As long as I’m going all-out (and I really am buying top of the line shit here) I might as well go all-out. Perhaps I’ll buy that new Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS or those Logitech Z-680 5.1 speakers. Hmmm…
